Garmin's latest offering is similar to the Forerunner 305, but much better. Some of the obvious reasons are:



  • It's water-proof (say it with me "open water swimming").

  • It has up to 20 hours battery life (instead of the previous 10 hours).

  • Wireless data transfer.

  • It's smaller (2.1"x2.2", instead of 2.1"x2.7", but with the same screen size).

  • It's lighter.

....WOW.

Injury Disclosure

I need help. I fell on Saturday night (no snide remarks...drinking was not involved.) I was basically sprinting when I fell. I fell HARD. I have a huge, bloody bruise on my calf. That is not what I am worried about. My right thigh about halfway up hurts REALLY bad. Like car wreck bad. So do my ribs. I am limping pretty noticeably from the pain. I know I should probably take it easy for a few days, but is there any cause for real alarm? It doesn't hurt to breathe, but my ribs are sore to the touch. My thigh nor my ribs have any visible bruising. What to do, intarweb-peeples?
